    JEBLANC: Jeniece Blanchet.

Jeniece Blanchet, the curator and creator of JEBLANC, is developing a brand that is relentlessly itself.

    ig post from @jesuisjeniece

JEBLANC currently offers two items the “FASHION IS THE FUTURE” and “HUMILITY IS THE FUTURE” sets. Neither piece can be put into a single category. They are necklaces/belts/body chains/ bag accessories/ and anything else you can think of, and that is the beauty of the brand. It has no limitations. It has no fear! Similar to that of its creator, Jeniece Blanchet.

Her style is representative of the story being expressed by the brand. It declares “The future is now, so grab your safety pins and cowboy hat! We’re going to that party!”

The accessories have been seen on numerous platforms thus far, such as the MATTE BRAND NYFW Runway Show (collection review viewable here) and the PrettyLittleThing starring Ashley Gram Red Carpet event.

We wish JEBLANC much success and are highly impressed by the brand as a whole.

    Bravo!

  • Lumps, Bumps, and Buttcracks. IT’S FASHION.

Lumps, Bumps, and Buttcracks. IT’S FASHION.

Fashion is an art first and foremost, and that we must never forget.

I define remarkable fashion by how it makes you feel. If it’s good it will make you smile. If it’s great it will confuse you, it will keep you up at night, and it will be on your mind until you finally figure it out.

    Alexander McQueen: The Birds 1995.

    Comme des Garçons: F/W 1990.

Few designers are able to create great fashion, and in this article, we will discuss just that. The very few.

Alexander McQueen, the mastermind who left us far too soon. McQueen was not given the recognition and praise he deserved in his lifetime. He is credited with introducing a new silhouette to the fashion world, and only a handful of designers in history have ever brought forth a new silhouette to the industry. Alexander McQueen’s new silhouette was the “bumster”. The style elongates the torso and exposes the bum which McQueen says “It wasn’t about showing the bum… To me, that part of the body – not so much the buttocks, but the bottom of the spine – that’s the most erotic part of anyone’s body, man or woman”.

    The Bumster Silhouette.

The medal bodice created by Shaun Leane on the McQueen catwalk.

McQueen was freeing the nipple before “Free the Nipple” was a thing.

Rei Kawakubo, one of the only designers to ever be the theme of the Met Gala and a still living designer. Kawakubo is the founder of Comme des Garçons and owner of the department store, Dover Street Market. The designer turns the abnormal and weird in something sexy and fearless. As a designer, she is a true artist. Societal norms and pressures to fit in are in no way apparent in her work. In fact, the first time I encountered a Rei Kawakubo piece I was doing research on Frankenstein’s influence on fashion. Her designs are almost monstrous with a divine womanly touch.

Fashion is for the fearless, so if you are not ready to be anything but your valiant self..

    stay at home!

    HAPPYFISH IN WONDERLAND by Sami.

HAPPYFISH’s Sunday night runway show was definitely a walk in wonderland. The designer featured whimsical elements in multiple pieces. Most notably, the spades card bubble skirt which involved 3D cards and a structured outer shell.

Not only were the clothes a playful experience, but the furry friends came dressed to impress as well. The HAPPYFISH Runway Show included puppies and bunnies, but not just any bunny. MIFFY the New York City bunny model who was carried in by Anna-Lisa Christiane and left the stage on her bunny skateboard!

HAPPYFISH IN WONDERLAND was a joyful experience, and we at LYMBRITH wish the brand much success.

    IG// @mjrsneaks & @ramosmyles

MJR Sneaks is a sneaker resell business ran solely by Myles Ramos. The entrepreneur began his business in the summer of 2017 after a life-changing week spent in New York City, New York. During that week he met several business-minded individuals all young and fairing well financially. So the original intent of MJR Sneaks was simply a way to make money, but soon Myles found a real love for the sneaker culture and the streetwear influence on high-end fashion.

In five years time, Myles Ramos is not certain he will still be in the sneaker resell business however he’d still like to have a heavy hand in the world of streetwear. Possibly even starting his own collection. Nonetheless, the most important thing that Myles Ramos has learned from it all is “If you believe you’re right, don’t let anyone tell you differently”.

Ma3ic Closet is an Instagram based business reselling exclusive streetwear pieces from brands such as Supreme, Nike, and Palace.

In five years time, Juliana and Savior will have the name Ma3ic be internationally known. The two would like for Ma3ic to be a culturally inclusive site. A place where you would know what was trending in Hong Kong, China even if you were located in Rome, Italy.

    Here kitty kitty!

    Are kitten heels back?

The sources are saying yes! Teen Vogue Volume VI has recently released a four page spread on the political and fashionable importance of the kitten heel. Women more so now are reaching towards comfort over style but a kitten heel is is an excellent way to do both.

We purchased these golden kitten heels from Barney’s and added a touch of fur for that wow factor!

  • Sneaker Culture VS High Heels

    Sneaker Culture VS High Heels

Are women over the the high heel, the uncomfortable, yet elegant and beautiful shoe?

I’m saying no, but the stats are saying yes. Heels 3 inches and higher have decreased in sales by 22% since 2015.

We see women substituting opportunities to wear a graceful heel with a cozy sneaker.

Photographed above we have Rihanna in a Molly Goddard Gown, and what? Not a heel. She’s wearing a tennis shoe. YAY or NAY?

But, we still have other fashion icons staying true to the effortless heel look. Such as Tracee Ellis Ross. Who whenever presented the opportunity to slip on a 6IN pump she takes it!

High Heels VS Sneaker Culture intertwined into Haute Couture.

    RAGTRADE ATLANTA 2017 Runway Show.

    Shop Newde.

The New Newde opened the RAGTRADE ATLANTA Runway Show. This seasons designs were sexy and elegant. Marsha Chin-Glover says she got her inspiration from various cultures. Her pieces showcase women’s bodies as art, love, and sex appeal.

    Tracy Nicole.

Tracy Nicole was the second collection to show, and she surely impressed. The designer stayed true to her simplistic and classic design aesthetic. The side ponytail with wire wrapped detail was an excellent touch.

    V I Z U V L G V D Š

VIZUVLGVDŠ is a minimalistic designer who really has no gender boundaries. His pieces are industrial and structured, but still add a feminine touch in the women’s pieces. The designer tailors each look to perfection. Bravo.

    Natt Taylor

Natt Taylor is an Atlanta based fashion designer whose collections captivate every season! This years collection really showed off her attention to detail. The gowns were incredibly embellished and the draping was sublime.

    Sylvia Mollie

Sylvia Mollie’s collection this season was entitled STORM. A few of the looks had raindrop detailing which was a great touch. Beautiful construction overall, and I was incredibly impressed.
