Fashion on the Hudson is an event put together by a wonderful team. To help independent designers emerge. This year was their 20th anniversary. And, I’m so grateful to say I was invited out to help cover the show.
Critiques
The Venue.
The space held a sizable amount of people which I know was the primary goal. But, visually it was overall lacking.Timing.
You must must must keep the event moving. From model to model you allowed to much time to pass. We have to keep it interesting. We have to keep it moving. People do get bored.Overall, it was an experience and I thank you again for having me. Great job to the designers, the event coordinators, and my fellow press bloggers/photographers/stylist etc.

Today I styled a YELLOW construction jumpsuit. This “belt” was originally a tiny purse, but I thought it would work better around my waste.

So I created a two piece Satin set in the shade eggnog. The top has an exposed back and dramatic drape. I am in love! For the bottom, I wanted something subtle, because my goal was for the sleeveless blouse to get all of the attention, so I opted for a simple yet elegant pencil skirt.
